You get a Sky Remote manual when you get your Sky box. This includes a list of TV manufacturers’ names at the back and a code list. The steps below will help you understand how to program/fix Sky Remotes with 3 digit remote codes input.
Note: There are multiple versions of Sky Remote Controls available to purchase online or in retail; if you get a new remote, make sure it's the most recent version. Refer to the Code according to the brand of your TV.
First, turn on your Sky Box and TV.
On your Sky Remote, press the TV button.
Press the Select and Red buttons simultaneously until the red LED on your remote blinks twice.
Enter the 3 digit Remote Codes for Sky TV in the box. The light should flash twice on the remote.
If it just blinks once, repeat steps in the following number.
Press the Standby button on your remote.
If your television turns off, press the Select button to save the setting.
Turn on the TV and press TV Guide; if the TV Guide list displays on the screen, the programming was successful.
If you can't manage or operate your Remote using a 3-digit remote code, a 4-digit code can be used. Follow these steps if that applies to you:
Turn on the Sky Box and TV.
On your Sky remote, press the TV button.
Hold down the Select and Red buttons at the same time until the red LED on your remote blinks twice.
On your Remote, press the TV button and enter the 4 digit Sky remote codes for the brand of your TV.
On the Remote, the light should flash twice.
Press the Standby button on your remote.
If your TV turns off, press Select to save your settings.
If the TV does not turn off, hit TV and then Standby repeating the process until the TV turns off, then click Select to save.
Turn on the TV and press the TV Guide button; if the TV Guide list displays on the screen, the programming was successful.
