sky stream skips to live TV when broadcast has ended

Hi

I'm getting incredibly frustrated with Sky Stream.
If I'm watching behind live TV and I try to forward the adverts (or just the program) when broadcast has ended, it freezes for a couple of seconds and jumps to live TV meaning I have lost the end of the program  I was watching. 
it only happens when the next program has started. If the program I'm watching is still on live TV, I have no problems. 
some programs can be found on the relevant player or streaming service and I can find the point I was at and continue watching. But 9 times out of 10 I've just lost the program and I start watching something else. 
since I've had Sky Stream, I've probably only seen the end of 10% of the programs I've started watching. 

Sky insists there's nothing wrong and it must be something at my end, despite me finding other people complaining about the very same thing. 
is this a Sky issue or is it something to do with my connection?

Why have you posted it to a thread about a different issue? 
My problem is losing the program when he broadcast has ended. 
This thread is about jumping during playback.

Issue reported a number of times over last few months and answered by Sky, so suspect it's still not fixed.
