sky puck. wifi or wired in?

Having just got a sky puck.. Brilliant little device, that works on wifi. Using it for the first time (as I type) i have had a streaming issue, and as i have my broadband router in the same room, would it be  better if i wired it straight into the routher instead if the wifi signal? its literlly 10 yards away from it?

That's often preferable, yes, with the WiFi on the puck switched off.

Ive discovered in Netflix using the built in speed check that my wireless speed connection is quicker than the wired. May be worth checking for your connection. In Netflix click Get Help then Check Your Network.

That's quite likely to be the case, because a puck is WiFi 6 but only has a 100Mbs ethernet chipset.  However Netflix only needs around 25Mbs at most and the reliability of data over a cable is preferable to any fast but potentially fluctuating wireless connection.
