One Question: Would like the Auto Turn Off Being Removed or be able to be disabled it...?
Post `Yes, I would like it removed or disabled` or `No, I like it.`
Me: Yes, I would like it removed or disabled.
I think its a good idea to see what people want or think, at the end of the day we are Sky Subcribers so have to use Sky Steam.
I am not a Sky Engineer but at one time wanted to be one or a BT Engineer... 🙂

Do you understand the impact of your desire on Sky's servers?

Its not just Sky's servers, it would require Comcast to want to move away from global standardisation and allow for regional configuration differences in the software to comply for local regulations which would inheritantly increase complexity in the software and support costs.

Perhaps be aware that one of the Sky Community rules is " Don't incite complaints, campaign or lobby "

I'm a Sky Subscriber and use Sky Q it will automatically go into standby mode also
So I'm not sure what the difference is between Q and Stream?

@best+of+the+best Well unless it has changed since I was on Sky Q about 4 months ago Q took a long time to go into standby mode, Stream does it after about 10 minutes on mine and it infuriating.

The power saving on Glass and Stream is considerably more aggressive than I ever experienced on Q: it's particularly annoying to have to shake the remote just before the end of an individual episode of a series.

Fair comment @TimmyBGood didn't really notice it probably because I only had Sky Stream less than a month.

I had Sky Q from 2017 and it never went on standby, I disabled it in its settings, I had it on everyday all day up unit my partner died in November 2024 and had to move and could only get Sky Steam where I live now.
Its the interruption I do not like thats all, I end up turn it back on again anyway, I can hadle it been quiet in the flat ATM because I am living alone now, been use to her been there for 30 years... 😞

Re: One Question: Would like the Auto Turn Off Being Removed or be able to be disabled it...?
Yesterday, it turn off(on stand by) without a notification on the top left of the screen, turn it back on then had a problem loading channels, they where all with a black screen so had to unplug it for 30 seconds so it could reboot the puck then the channels worked again... weird... 🙂
