remote control

our switch on date is today and broadband is working lovely, but cannot get remote to do anything not even connect to tv

Take the back off and make sure none of the insulating paper tag that you pulled out has been left stuck under the batteries.

We have done that and even put new batteries in still nothing

Hi @Heavenly-Mamma Try pairing the remote again as follows:

 

  1. Press 7 and 9 together on your Sky remote for three seconds (This resets/clears the remote)
  2. Press 1 and 3 together for three seconds and follow the on-screen instructions.

Keep a look out for the speech chat bubble that will appear on the bottom left of your screen when you are logged onto this forum (you will need to refresh your browser from time to time until you see the chat bubble).  When the blue bubble does appear you have 48 hours to respond or the chat will be automatically closed.

 

Note replies from Sky are not instant so you will need to regularly check the chat thread.  Also be aware the team work from 8am to 7pm Mon-Sun in the UK and 9am to 4:30pm Mon-Fri in Ireland.
