pair 2 remotes to 1 sky stream puck

How do I pair a second remote to a sky stream puck? I have already paired the remote that came with the puck.

Hi @Chrisee I got somemore replies/help with this, as a result I bought a second Sky remote through Amazon (not cheap £30 and Sky don't sell them direct) with the intention of using one on BT and the other IR however the 2nd puck worked straight out of the box without having to set it up or change it to IR. The only thing I had to set up was the connection with my SB.

@BC1956  I don't think you can pair 2 bluetooth remotes to the same puck, you should be able to use the 2nd one using IR (so no voice control)

@BC1956  It should work over IR, but depending on the database one for all use you should be able to find it under Sky -->  Stream or Sky --> Glass

If this a Harmony One for all remote?

@BC1956 if you One For All remote has a learning mode you should be able to teach it the IR commands as explained in this thread.

Re: pair 2 remotes to 1 sky stream puck

I'm not sure if this helps, but I bought a Sky Stream Puck about a month ago. The issue I faced was that if the remote breaks or gets lost, I wouldn't be able to change channels until a new remote is purchased and arrives.

So, I thought I'd buy a second remote to keep in a drawer as a backup. That way, if I lost the first one, I could just pair it with the puck and be up and running again immediately. But who wants to spend £30 on a second remote that won't get used, right?

I discovered that a Sky Glass remote works with the Sky Puck, so I went ahead and bought one from eBay for £16. It arrived looking brand new. I successfully set it up to work with the Sky Puck. Once I knew it worked, I also tested the original Sky Puck remote, and it worked too!

So now, I have two remotes in the room, both controlling my Sky Puck without any issues. The only thing that doesn’t work is the Sky Glass Netflix and YouTube buttons. Oh, and my wife accidentally put the Sky Glass remote through a two-hour wash cycle in the washing machine, and it's still working perfectly for now!
