woke up this morning to find that he Youtube app on all 4 of my pucks is not working, simply won't load. You briefly get the spinning wheel then nothing.
All other apps(eg Amazon Prime, Disney+,ITVX etc) are working normally.
I have tried refresshing the apps butthat made no difference.
NB Youtube is working fine from other devices (PC,tablet, phone) via the same connection

I believe it always says "software update in progress" now. At least i've personally never seen it say anything different in the past few months i've had Sky Stream., despite the build version successfully updating.
Interesting this is affecting all of your pucks. I have just checked Youtube on my puck to confirm its loading as expected.
I'm assuming you have already tried unplugging one of your affected Sky Stream pucks for 10 minutes and then seeing if that resolves the issue?

@MarkGoldsmith
10 minute turn off seems to have restored normality. Lets go do the other ones 🙂

Yeah some issues with Glass/Stream seem to require a much longer power down to resolve. Still strange its affected all your pucks at the same time, perhaps they all got upgrade to Q24 recently and this has been some wierd side affect.

Re: Youtube only stopped working on all Pucks
aye it is odd although I should note that although I found them all not to be working at the same time that was only because I checked them after YT on my "primary" puck stopped working.
The others very rarely have YT run on them so could have been "broken" for a while

Re: Youtube only stopped working on all Pucks
well this morning YouTube is once again dead on at least 2 of my Pucks.
Slightly different this time in that no spinning wheel and simply goes to a grey screen and stops.
All other apps are fine.
ALso not a network issue as YT works fine from a PC or mobile and each of the pucks is connected to a different router
Once Again refreshing Apps hasnt made a difference, guess I need to try a full reset again 😞

Re: Youtube only stopped working on all Pucks
@Panman1964 a simple power down reboot is normally all that is required although you can try the Apps refresh option in the settings if it doesnt. A full factory reset should not be used unless Sky ask you to do one as it is sledge hammer to crack a nut and if it goes wrong you can literally brick the puck.

Re: Youtube only stopped working on all Pucks
Check your internet connection for stability and speed. Power cycle the Sky Stream Pucks by unplugging and reconnecting them. Ensure the YouTube app is updated to the latest version. If the issue persists, try uninstalling and reinstalling the YouTube app on the devices. Check for any known service outages with Sky Stream or YouTube. If none of these steps work, contact Sky Stream's customer support for further assistance. This approach systematically addresses potential causes, from basic troubleshooting to seeking expert help. If none of these works, try using DumpMedia to download the YouTube videos and screen cast them for temporary offline watching.

Re: Youtube only stopped working on all Pucks
This happened to me today. Working now. I resolved by scrolling right to bottom of the home page and press settings, go to system management and then into Resets & Updates, and then restart device. Screen goes blank and it takes about 5 minutes to restart. YouTube is now working for me.
