So my Stream puck updated to the new Firmware version QS017.005 overnight so I thought I would see if the "Watch from the start"/Fast Forward had been improved/fixed.
What I have found so far is:
Watch from the Start
- the option to watch from the start is no longer showing on non-sky channels such ITV, CH4, CH5 etc
- however you can still live pause these channels and so far the FF x30 seems to work as expected.
- for Sky channel such has Sky Atlantic etc the option to watch from the start does appear and seems to be working correctly so far, I can FF to x30 and it's worked correctly everytime.
So unless it's just something on my end, the watch from the start feature appear to have been removed from non-sky channels, but on the channel it is available FF appears to be working now as expected.
Need to test some more later tonight.

I noticed similar symptoms last night but wasn't all channels.
The issue is currently more widespread this morning.
m From time to time watch from start seems to dissapear, but it's very rare that it happens.

Haven't been able to use watch from start since yesterday, very annoying, missed Jeremy vine this morning! I hope it gets fixed

These firmware updates seem to fix one thing and mess up another. Watch from start is all over the place now - hit and miss. Appears for some channels, doesn't for others. However it does appear to have fixed an issue with the playlist - a whole months worth of cloud recordings, on a certain sports show, have now appeared, which were missing before.

Since last night when selecting watch from start on certain channels it comes up with a technical error message. Happened last night on ITV1 but not BBC. Other channels had this fault too. Tried rebooting box but to no avail and still happening now. Annoying as this watch from start rail is a really good feature if it works properly.

Spent some more time with this late last night and "Watch fromt he start" was back on all channels I tried (ITV, CH5) etc, and FF appears to be working now as expected.

Sky have said in this post that it's been resolved however I'm experiencing the issue still

Since I've had Sky Stream this function has been poor. Particularly when trying to watch Gogglebox on Channel 4. It was a regular test of mine as it always failed.
However something has changed as it worked flawless yesterday. I tried it again with other programmes and it worked perfectly. Whatever Sky have done, it's fixed it.

Watch from the start feature today telling me I need to upgrade my subscription to do that
Is this happening to others ?

We've been getting that message regularly for over 2 weeks, have lost the will to try and resolve it. Hasn't got any better, none of the usual stuff makes it go away and because it's random you can't replicate it so it's hard to do a call with sky about it. Might be worth starting another thread with that as the topic although I suspect there are some open already
