If the match was partly broadcast on say Sky Sports Main Event along with the Cricket channel that tends to happen as the "watch from start" seems to pick it up from the Main Event channel.
Why it does this I'm not sure not perhaps it's worth reporting this to the Sky Viewer Relations Team viewerR@sky.uk
