Watch from beginning not showing

I wanted to watch the F1 race starting at 3.55 - 6. I got home from work midway through the race and the "watch from beginning" option isn't showing. 

I also added the programme to my playlist and I can't watch it from there either. The show won't load and I keep getting a "Please wait for your programme to load" / "technical error" message. The "watch from beginning" option is showing for other sports programs showing at the same time but not F1?  

Anyone know if this is usual, and how to fix it? The whole point in getting Sky was for the F1 coverage and so far it has been abysmal. There's no organization to their previous showings either. Honestly it's a mess for how much we pay for it

Hi.I'm wondering does anyone know why if you turn qualifying on late on sky f1 and hit the 'watch from the start' icon it will restart the broadcast but if you attempt to fast forward the adverts (I pay for add skipping) it reverts back to the live channel and you've missed you're chance to watch if the live broadcast has finished! Very frustrating.

I've had this issue with tv programmes too but I put it down to the individual channel players not having the show available yet to replay ('I'm a celebrity...' in Ireland on the virgin media player). 

In this case with f1 I don't understand why sky make it so difficult to watch back qualifying.

makes the old sky Q set up with a hardrive make much more sense than changing to sky stream.

i notice the practice sessions are easy to find in your playlist but qualifying is always difficult to find or you have to look for a later broadcast to watch on the sky f1 channel.a huge flaw in the sky stream os.

any information on this appreciated.

I've experienced the same problem twice this week with I'm a celebrity... on STV. On both occasions when rewinding or fast forwarding the ads it reverts to live tv and the programme has finished with it not available in the playlist or app. Very frustrating and needs fixed. Enjoying the stream platform otherwise

Yes that happened to me twice last week also watching I'm a celebrity.i put it down to the virgin media player not putting the episode up on the player until the next day.i was thinking they want you to watch live so you have to sit through the adverts.dont understand why sky make it so complicated to watch back f1 qualifying!

when all4 put a new documentary up you can watch all episodes as soon as the first one has aired live.very convenient

Hi @KC30   You mention Playlist, this is not available on Sky Q (this community). Do you have Stream or Glass?

I've noticed the qualifying sessions are always difficult to find in your playlist (if at all)  practice sessions not so much 

I usually end up having to watch a repeat on the f1 channel later in the day or on ch4 

the 'watch from the start' function is fine for the race because there's no ad breaks and you aren't fast forwarding playback 

Don't know why sky make it so difficult to watch back.!
