Watch F1 race

Purchased SkyGo in order to allow more flexibility with watching the races.

I'm not always available at exactly the right time, so would like to watch the event at a later time.

It's preferable not to have the result spoilt by revealing headlines.

So today, after the Austrian GP, I login:

- the "Latest news from Sky Sports" title are all spoilers. I just can't avoid seeing them. They're at the top of the page.

- I can't find the full race anywhere. Not in the "Catch up on Austrai" section. Not in the "Weekend Wrap-up", Not in the "on demand".

How can this be so difficult. Sky, please tell me what I can do to rectify this situation. I bought this service just for the F1, but you're making a lousy job of it.

Re: Watch F1 race

I should clarify - I'm trying to watch it on a Sky Stream box - I pay £48.00 / month for the service. It's a dreadful experience.

There must be a way to watch F1 after the race without going through this.

Did you add the race to your Playlist beforehand or are you just trying to find it in On Demand afterwards?

There is, you need to add the Live F1 broadcast to your playlist, then you go into your playlist to start watching the coverage at any time you want. If you go via the Sports page, you are relying on the replay being uploaded ( which takes longer than the cloud recording you get when you playlist), and you will also be fed the latest highlights as soon as they are available, going via the on-demand route as well. The on-demand route is typically useful for more casual viewers who have already seen/heard the result and just want to quickly catch up if they know it was a good race.

Re: Watch F1 race

Thanks @MarkGoldsmith that's super helpful.

I had actually added the Live F1 broadcast to my playlist, but had also assumed that if it was available to me it would be visible on the Sports page.

This solution is a bit clunky, but it gets the job done.

10 years ago I lived in Geneva, and the Swisscom TV box then was light years ahead of where this Stream box is now. I could watch any program from the past couple of weeks, instantly, without having to wait to see if someone had decided to make it available, or not. There were no spoilers either.

Thanks again for the help.
