We have no end of issues with our Sky Stream, takes ages to turn on, frequently kicks us off channels; apps, programmes.
Now unable to use it at all, just a black screen saying wait for your programme to load.
Everyday at 11 o'clock the stream is unusable for 2 hours having to resort to an iPad to entertain my toddler... now it's 6pm too!? I have reset the puck, everything!

This sounds like poor broadband performance. What speed is your broadband? Glass and Stream required 25Mbps for HD and 30Mbps for UHD.
You can test what speed your puck is getting by opening netflix, opening the menu and going to get help? And selecting connection check.

Launch Netflix on your pucks (you do not need to be logged into it, if you do not use netflix) and scroll down the left menu to Get help.
Choose Check Network.
Would suggest running the test a few times, say a few minutes between tests.
What is your speed?
You mention a reset, assume you mean a restart.
Best way to do that is the following;
Go to Settings>Systems Management>Resets & Updates
Select Restart device
Your Sky Stream puck will perform a reboot. It will take a few minutes to complete

We're have full fibre 900 - have no issues streaming on our other tv with fire stick, my boyfriends runs his games on his PC no issues etc
