when setting up it asked if we would like to use the remote to control the tv volume and on and off settings. We choice yes. At first it worked but after about 3 minutes it has stopped working and will not connect again. we have tried everything, tried to reset the remote holding 7 & 9 then 1 & 3. Tried unplugging the puck for 2 minutes then trying again and still nothing. Any ideas. It's becoming really frustrating 😂😩

@DG-38 There is no volume control on stream, the volume control is on your TV so you would need to pair it with your TV again.
To pair your Sky remote to your TV:
Press and hold1and3together on your Sky remote for3 seconds.
Wait until you see the connected message and selectContinue.
Still not working?
Try these steps:
Press and hold7and9together on your Sky remote for3 seconds.
Press and hold1and3together for3 seconds.
Follow the instructions on screen.

Samsung 75" 4K TV, Sky Glass Gen 2 55", Sky Stream, EE FTTC Broadband, Three 5G Broadband (Backup), Sony 7.1 AV Receiver, Technisat MultiSat receiver.
Its the TV volume we wanted to control with the sky remote, as mentioned in original post. I understand there is not a volume control for the stream itself.
We have tried the solutions you provided and as said this in the originally its still not working unfourtunatly. Do you know any other way we could resolve this at all??

@DG-38 Have you gone to Settings > Connected Devices > Remote > Control your TV?
If your LG is compatible with the Stream remote you should be able to set it up from here.

You could also try holding the remote at both ends and giving it a gentle twist as though you were wringing out a cloth. Even though it sounds an unlikely solution it has got many faulty remotes working again (including my own).
If you are lucky enough to have one available you can use a Sky Q remote while you wait for a replacement to arrive.
