Voice control on the remote

Been with sky about 6 weeks and gone through 4 remotes. Anyone else having issues with voice control working, then not. It's frustrating and unacceptable. Sky customer service are useless when asked.

@Unhappy67 Not me - but I don't use voice control. I always find it very frustrating. I think the feature doesn't cope well with a Yorkshire accent!

Never had any issues with voice control on my remotes (3 pucks and 2 glass) that wasn't fixed by a restart or plug pull 

 

what kind of problems are you encountering with the voice control ?

There was a small blip last month or so, I recall, fixed promptly.

I use voice a lot every day, searching, channel swapping, app launching, calling menu options like Settings.

 

Apart from that blip, above, been working fine of late with no issues.

 

As above, do a settings restart of your puck;

Go to Settings>Systems Management>Resets & Updates
Select Restart device
Your Sky Stream puck will perform a reboot. It will take a few minutes to complete

It either does the "say it again" or highlights at the top with nothing at all. I'm sick of plug pulls and restart/pairing. I shouldn't be doing it 2 or 3 times a day. 

It's as bad, if not worse than virgin was
