Hello,
I am trying to enable Voice guidance on the Sky stream. When I turn this on and press the home button, the sound of the tv programme is silenced. However, there is no speech. Has anyone else had this issue? If so, is there a fix?
Many thanks for any help.
George

Thanks for replying. To clarify, I am referring to the speech developed by Sky which reads out the menus and tv guide etc. I understand this should be available with the Stream.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreI've tried voice guidance on Sky Stream and it works well. Just as it did with Sky Q.
Its nice that you can turn it on/off with voice 'turn on voice guidance' 'turn off voice guidance'
Just put it on and all working fine.
One thing to check, is that you are not using the audio setting 'pass through' as it does not work correctly when that is enabled.
Setting to PCM or either of the Dolby options works fine though.
If above still does not help, try restarting your puck, by putting into standby and removing the power plug or switching off your power socket for about a minute and then repower up again.

Thank you very much for the advice. Unfortunately, I have tried all of the suggestions without success.
