Unable to skip ads on Discovery+

I pay for add skipping (or fast forwarding on non-SKY channels)
However, I am unable to do that on Discovery+ 

 

Any ideas?

You can't as Discovery+ with adverts is the only version. 

To go ad free on Discovery+, you need to upgrade to Discovery+ Premium with TNT Sports...

You also can't skip ads on the standard version of Paramount+, Disney+ etc

As @Nigelb1972 states you cannot skip on D+

It's available on Sky content, ITVX, STV Player and All4 TV apps.

It's an fair assumption I guess as Discovery+ is not mentioned on that page
