Unable to activate Netflix on Sky stream

I joined Sky Stream this month, but have been unable to activate Netflix as is says 'currently unavailable, try again later'. Has anyone had this issue and been able to get around it?

Hi @Camay

Logging into netflix on Sky tells netflix to stop billing you and they Sky will take over. See the information here: https://www.sky.com/help/articles/apps-on-sky-q-and-glass-using-netflix

When you say it says "currently unavailable" where in the process are you seeing this? Or is this when you are trying to open the app? If this is the cause power off at the mains for a few minutes and try again, if that doesn't work try running an app refresh in settings > system management> apps & updates. However this isn't instant and can take up to 24 hours.

Failing this you will need to contact Sky as we are fellow subscribers here on the forum.

Re: Unable to activate Netflix on Sky stream

Hi MikeAlanR

Yes, I am getting the app unavailable message as I try and open Netflix. Thank you for your suggestions. I will give those a try and if they don't work I will, as you suggest, contact Sky direct.

Thanks for replying.
