Hi my telly supports UHD (model TCLc745k 65"). I have also taken the subscription for UHD & Dolby atmos. But whenever I am watching an UHD programme whether it is live or not it is getting dark screen after few mins and I had to restart the puck to get back to normal. But if I watch anything UHD other than our sky stream puck than there is no issue at all. Please help about this issue?! Do I have to change the puck?!
Are you using the HDMI cable which came with the puck? Does the UHD content you are watching have HDR? All Sky content with HDR uses the HLG format which some makes/models of TV handle better than others. You need to make sure you have HDR enabled for the HDMI port on your TV that the puck is attached to and tweak the picture settings accordingly as they are likely to need tweaking for all the different HDR formats - HDR10, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision (which your TV is capable of.)
Does your display get darker when watching third party app content from the Stream puck? If you have Netflix Premium you will get Dolby Vision from a lot of UHD content on there. You will get Dolby Vision from the Apple TV+ app. You will get HDR10+ from Prime Video and Dolby Vision & HDR10 from Disney+ Premium.
Check your TV settings to make sure it is correctly receiving full bandwidth signals via HDMI.
