UHD on Paramount +
Anyone else experiencing flaky UHD experience on Paramount +. On all of my pucks I seem to have to restart them when watching UHD content. They will start playing ok but only in HD.
if I then restart the puck and pick up from where I left off they will play in UHD Dolby vision ok. The puck is always showing as 4K resolution in the settings. The tvs the pucks are connected to are from different manufacturers and it only seems to affect Paramount+.

Mines been fine with Paramount+ UHD but their app isn't particularly great and I don't think it has dynamic streaming in that it'll scale the resolution up from HD to UHD etc once buffered. So it's probably picking up your initial bandwidth and then assumes your connection isn't fast enough...
What speeds are you recieving at your puck?

Hi Nigel thanks for the reply according to Netflix get help connection speed is 254.86Mbps so it should be fine. It's not a major issue just a niggle but it's only the puck that does this paramount on other devices works first time.

Sounds like it just their app being poopies 🤣
Rather than launching into it from a live channel, try back out so nothing is being streamed. Then wait a few seconds before launching it.

What picture setting is your stream on? Is it auto or uhd ?
43inch Gen 1 and 55 inch Gen 2 Sky Glass & sky live camera 3 Pucks. Virgin media M500 on hub 5x. Four sky mobile sims.

@Jporch316 it is set to 2160p UHD don't think there is an auto for resolution
