UHD on PUK

Hi,

I have Sky UHD, i have a sky glass that never has any problems, in my bedroom I have a samsung tv with Sky Puk set up, I have never had any issues until the past few weeks, I can be watching a sky UHD programme in bed, then the next episode goes to play and I get a message to say my settings need to be changed to UHD ( even though I have just watched it in UHD) and it will not let me watch it, this has happened on a few programmes and films now, but I have no idea how to stop it happeneing

Is your puck definitely set to output 2160P?

It could be that the HDMI cable is failing and the puck isn't registering that it's connected to a 4K TV. Try turning both the TV and puck off at the wall for 30 seconds. Unplug the HDMI cable and then re-attach it to both the puck and the TV. Power them both back on and make sure the video output is set to 2160P. See if that sorts it.

The puck needs to be set to output 2160P on the puck picture settings menu for you to see the native UHD content on your TV. Your 4K TV will automatically upscale HD content to UHD so you don't need to set anything on the TV itself. Unless you're confusing HDR with UHD?

Re: UHD on PUK

Ah ok, it keeps telling me in the message I need to set my tv to UHD - which it is.

I will unplug it all tonight and start again to see if that sorts it.
