UHD sport stuttering

As a previous reply answer has suggested possibly the puck cache just simply fills up and doesn't clear itself and it can't handle the data overflows as a result. "Maybe" is my reply I have rebooted many times, it does work occasionally but mostly rebooting the puck makes absolutely no difference. If Sport UHD was a direct feed I might say that there is a massive lack of bandwidth in the modulated 4k Sky Sports Stream but I don't believe the the Sky engineers do not know what the problem is

Time and time again my sky sports UHD is unwatchable. Just jumps and judders through what ever I'm trying to watch .. my internet speed is over 300 mbs so it's not that .. SKY you need to sort this out . It's a huge problem and ao

many people are complaining about it .. the PUCKS can't handle it

No issue here on 2 glass TVs and 4 pucks. Who is your ISP etc? While speed is certainly a big factor, there are other factors which can impact streaming.

Bt fibre but as I say it's super quick but it's through SKY as well

No problems here i have a busy household including 2 55inch sky tv's and a puck aswell as many other devices connected to the internet,  just because your internet is 300mps that's to the hub not to the device, i have full fiber to the house gigfast 900mps both my tv's are connected by eithernet cables and each tv gets high 80'smps to mid 90's mps and sodoes my puck, to watch uhd channels the min sky recommend is 30mps and the more devices that you have connected the weaker the signal is to each one, open netfix go to help open that and run check my network to see what speed the tv is getting also a cable connection is more stable that wifi

Hi, thanks for the reply . According to Netflix I have 264 mbps . I think that is pretty decent . I don't have any issues with any other channels . Just when I watch sport on UHD

That will be great if you don't any other devices connected then you should not have any problems what other devices  do you have connected to the internet ?

Just 2 phones and a ps5 ...  not like I'm killing it .. will ring up and see what they have to say tomorrow

I have 3 moblie phones 2 55inch sky glass tvs, a puck, a 43inch lg smart tv, freesat box, personnal computer, xbox, tablet, laptop, smart meter, 3 alexers, ring doorbell smart plugs, as i have already said i am on full fiber broadband to the house, fiber optic cable gigfast 900mps to the hub, i do have a booster pod aswell as i live in an old house

I'm not seeing this issue Myself. I watch Sky Spirts regularly on my Sky Strewm pucks.

But, a few customers are reporting some juddering.

As a former Stream customer, I left because of the high price not because of UHD picture quality on live football or F1.

So here's a suggestion to those suffering with flaky pucks (warning: not cheap).

What I did was subscribe to Now TV for a couple of months alongside my Stream subscription to compare them.

I would play live UHD sport on both Stream and Now TV (Roku 4K) and switch HDMI ports to compare. 

My son and I agreed we couldn't see any difference in the picture quality. Maybe Now TV was a little further behind Stream by a few seconds but otherwise identical.

Convinced we could live without Sky's UI or playlist, I submitted a cancellation of Stream via email.

Currently pay £34 pm for ALL Now TV subscriptions including Ultra Boost/  UHD. This means I can watch live football and F1 judder free in 4K on other TVs in the house.
