Tv screen resolution

New to Sky TV. Have 2 pucks/tv's.

On 1 the screen resolution is incorrect, too large so characters enlarged and any text does not show in bottom of screen.

Usually when first turned on then after switching channels it's ok. Or going on apps but tonight it's, stuck on large.

 

No problems on my other tv & puck.

Help please! Beginning to think it's my Tv

Hi @Speed1000

 

Could you do me a favour and swap the boxes around? So put the one that works well on the TV you're having trouble with. 

If you continue to have this problem with the second box then that suggests to your TV settings being incorrect or a fault with the TV. 

 

Please give it a go and report back.

Try this, to reset your picture settings;

 

  1. Put your Sky Stream puck on standby by pressing the Standby button on your Sky remote or on the bottom of your Sky Stream puck.
  2. Switch off your Sky Stream puck at the mains then switch it back on again. There’s no need to unplug it.

After a few seconds, you'll see the Sky logo on screen and the white standby light will come on (it might blink off and back on again) as the Sky Stream puck starts back up.

 

On your Sky remote, press the Home button. You should see the Home screen

 

4. Reset your picture settings

  1. Press Home on your Sky remote.
  2. Scroll down to the bottom of the home screen and select Settings.
  3. Select Picture & Sound, then Picture resolution.
  4. Change  to the resolution you want.

@Speed1000 one cause of this issue is a setting on the TV rather than the puck look for a setting in the TV settings like picture size or similar name it usually has a number of options but choose tge one labelled native or similar name. Some TV remotes have a button that steos through the options shich you might have hit by accident.

I did wonder about doing this.

Will give it  a try. I have limited free time at home so may take a few days!
