Tv packages

I am under contract which includes sky ultimate stream with cinema and sports channels under it

I want to downgrade to essential tv stream, would that be possible without losing cinema and sports also would there be any charges or would I have to start again as a existing customer ?

sorry a lot to say

The whole essence of a discounted 24 month contract is that you agree to pay for 24 months.

It would be as long as you are still not in contract @James519 otherwise you would be charged an early termination fee

You would have to cancel your whole package, send back any pucks that are loaned to you and pay the early termination fees before you could then order again which may run into hundreds of pounds depending on how long you are still in contract for. You would also have to pay for the pucks again. It's probably not worth it @James519

@James519  this may not be possible for a number of reasons

1 sky may not allow you to cancel if you are in contract

2 getting your mom to get the packages would only be legal and feasible if you both live at the same address (you cannot use sky products outside the registered address except for the sky go app on a mobile device)

3 if you are able to cancel and live at the same address you or your mom are unlikely to get new customer offers as sky are wise to the trick of cancelling and resigning up for new customer offers unless the address hasn't had the relevant sky service for a period of 18 months) ( any attempt to do so can be seen as an attempt to receive service via fraudulent means)
