Re: TNT Sport migration to HBO Max
Once again, Warner Bros have screwed over fans/subscribers in Ireland. All the talk about launching in "UK and Ireland" today but you can only get the basic HBO in ireland which does not include sports, so although I am paying for TNT sports in ireland I do not have any streaming service with HBO. So i'm stuck with the crappy cycling coverage that the TV channels give. They truly do not care about Irish fans. [Removed]

@Brisfrenchy wrote:Is anyone else thinking that TNT sports package via Sky moving to HBO is effectively a downgrade to the package which was offered as you can no longer watch in UHD via the app as part of the base subscription. You can watch in UHD for the main Sky channel but need to purchase an upgrade to HBO max in order to also have UHD in the app. 😡 I feel like the TNT Sports content should also be provided as UHD in the apps as part of this.
Not sure what you are saying, but the UHD for the sports tier is not connected to the UHD for the entertainment / movie tiers. If you have access to sport on HBO Max you will have TNT Sport Ultimate. You can check that by looking at the replay of the Brighton v Liverpool game - look under replays, scroll across, and you will find the UHD version. Are you saying that that doesn't play for you?

Ad skipping through Sky doesn't work on these international streamers ( and never has). It's purely the ability to skip ads on Sky on-demand content and on the UK apps ( ITv. , C4, 5).
just like with Disney, paramount, Netflix etc you need to upgrade to the ad free tier to remove the ads.

Re: TNT Sport migration to HBO Max
I'm also having problems with the HBO Max transfer.
I have TNT sports (an extra subscription via Sky). I have a free discovery + to access streaming of TNT sports. The streaming is now transferred to HBO Max and the instructions from HBO, Sky, TNT and Discovery + websites all say that all I need to do is enter my Discovery+ e mail and password when signing in to HBO and that's all.
However, this just is not working, my details not recognised (despite the fact I have Discovery + open on my laptop). I only want to stream via my laptp not on a phone so I don't need an HBO app.
Thanks

Re: TNT Sport migration to HBO Max
I am having the same problem. Email has been the same across Sky, Discovery and now HBO yet I am unable to stream TNT through devices. You click on a sport and it says get access.
i just can't find how to deal with this, it is so frustrating.

Re: TNT Sport migration to HBO Max
I'm having the same issue here.
Just followed the instructions to activate the HBO account which has worked but it just shows Get Access under any of the TNT Sports options even though I've got a TNT subscription with Sky.

Re: TNT Sport migration to HBO Max
I have the same as you - TNT Sports as an add-on via EE, and HBO Max free with Sky. I have logged into the app using the same email address (my email address I use for my EE account is same as Sky). The email address on HBO Max automatically links to the EE account with TNT Sports, however if you activate HBO Max on Sky, both of your accounts are combined. So there is no need to "flick between two accounts" as they are both combined together in the account on the app once activated.
It just gives you a warning when activating via Sky, that you may be billed from two accounts, which is fine as it is picking up the fact that you have accounts with both EE (TNT Sports) and Sky (free with ads). What I have noticed is I appear to be getting UHD on movies, so it looks like Sky gives me the access to movies etc, and EE gives me access to TNT Sports, and also makes everything UHD

Re: TNT Sport migration to HBO Max
Actually, it looks like having Premium/Ultimate via EE for TNT Sports, makes everything on HBO Premium (UHD with no ads) if you have the free Sky with ads package.
This is what I am discovering now.
