Re: TNT Sport migration to HBO Max
I activated hbo via sky and got a code to my email to do this. Now I'm in it shows I have two subscriptions - Sky for the hbo part and via BT for TNT sports.
I'm unclear on whether I can combine and just get through Sky. Or whether as easy/same price to stay with BT

Re: TNT Sport migration to HBO Max
Managed to figure it out, went to my sky app. Then went to my products and it says hbo max and activate . Click on that and it let's you activate it there and then you can login to hbo max app with your existing discovery plus credentials or you can just create an account with the email you use for sky. Then tells you that you can watch tnt through hbo max

Re: TNT Sport migration to HBO Max
I had to go to my sky then selected products and could activate HBO Max which took me to the login,
It then sent me a one-time code, when i entered this it gave me options to continue or cancel, when I tried to select continue it told me that this would create a new subscription so i would have 2 subscritions, so i selected cancel and it then took me to HBO Max and it is working ok.. Prior to this there was no HBO Max app on my sky Q apps selecion, after activation it seemed to appear..
I also signed into HBO Max from my LG tv and it accepted my Discovery + credentials...

Nope that's not corrrct. Your existing discovery + login works only for you subscribe to TNt Spotte directly via Disocbery + ( as under that condition they are migrating user accounts due to TNT sports moving).
If you pay via Sky for TNT sports you need to activate hbo max to link your Sky and max accounts together. Either open hbo max on a Sky device and follow the instructions or activate hbo max via App Subscriptions from your My Sky account.

Re: TNT Sport migration to HBO Max
At the moment when I try and activate I'm only being led to a page where it's trying to insist I pay monthly. No recognition of my existing Sky subscription.

How exactly are you trying to activate it?

Re: TNT Sport migration to HBO Max
Same issue, we have TNT Sports as an EE mobile add-on, so now have two different subscriptions and no easy way to flick between them on the app. Looks like we'll have to use an app on the TV for Sports, and the app on the Sky Stream box for everything bundled with Sky. Annoying as going with Sky Stream was supposed to simplify everything. I imagine this would rule out Sky Glass for us.

MySky in Sky Stream.
When I choose to ACTIVATE it takes me to an HBO screen with a QR code or a code to enter at www.hbomax.com/sky
When I do that it takes me to a CHOOSE YOUR PLAN screen, and all the options have a pay monthly charge.
I have a Sky Ultimate package where I should get HBO standard with ads and TNT Sports.

Try activating through the MySky app on your phone, I had no issues earlier although I'm using Q. The Q box then gave me the code to enter on that website.

The other option is to try by opening the HBO Max on your Stream puck, which should prompt a first screen asking if you want to create an HBO Max account using the same email address that is linked to your Sky account ( doing it this way, skips a couple of steps with having to scan a QR code, as that will automatically create a new HBO Max account for you with that email address).

Sadly I always get a "Unfortunately, we can't complete your order online" message through the MySky app.

Re: TNT Sport migration to HBO Max
Open your Sky app. Go to my products. Should see a list of channels included in your subscription. This should now include HBO Max. You should see an invitation to activate. Click on this and follow the process.
Good luck 🤞.

Re: TNT Sport migration to HBO Max
Another alternative is to say into the voice activation button My Sky and choose Products, then App subscriptions, then scroll down until you see HBO Max and click on it and follow the instructions.

Re: TNT Sport migration to HBO Max
Is anyone else thinking that TNT sports package via Sky moving to HBO is effectively a downgrade to the package which was offered as you can no longer watch in UHD via the app as part of the base subscription. You can watch in UHD for the main Sky channel but need to purchase an upgrade to HBO max in order to also have UHD in the app. 😡 I feel like the TNT Sports content should also be provided as UHD in the apps as part of this.
