So I've been on sky q for some years now and as I now have 4 uhd tvs in my house the lack of 4k away from the main box has become a real problem, I tried at my last contract renewal to switch to sky stream but I could not get them to get anywhere near the new customer price they were offering so I begrudgingly ended up staying on sky q, my question is whether people think it's worth paying the extra to go to stream or wait it out and maybe get Now tv as it now does uhd once my contract ends?

@Anthony778 I swapped from SkyQ to Stream about 3 months ago. I like Stream but if I'm honest I think I should have waited a bit longer. There are a number of irritating problems. I have never had any connectability problems but others have. My main issue is with the functionality. The forward and rewind is a bit clunky and while it is a good idea to 'record' a program and get all the series available it can be a devil of a job sometimes to work out what you have previously watched. If you could just delete what you have seen or don't want to watch it would be so much better. There are other issues as well, but on the plus side it is a work in progress and they are improving it all the time.
Overall as I said I am happy with it and think it will be a superb system but it wouldn't hurt to wait a bit longer.

Is your monthly bill about the same as you were paying for sky Q? It seems sky would rather push people towards sky glass rather than giving them a good price for stream.

From the perspective of Comcast accountants that's not entirely surprising: a warehouse or two of three-year-old television sets isn't an ideal asset to have on the books.
