I have been mis sold Sky Stream, I believed it was Sky Q. Where do I stand with regards to switching? My account only went live today and I hate it!

Re: Switch from sky Stream to Sky Q
@Louisereader You have 30 days cool off, call Sky to switch to Sky Q.
You can call on 150 from a Sky Talk Line or Sky Mobile.
If you haven't got a current Sky Mobile or Sky Talk this link should help:
(UK) https://www.sky.com/help/home Scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ and it provides a 0333 number
(ROI) on the same link change the flag in the very bottom corner to the ROI flag to obtain an 0818 number.
Stay on the line and don’t hang up if prompted to. Apparently the quieter times to ring are just after 7am or about 9pm.

Re: Switch from sky Stream to Sky Q
Thank You so much. And in terms of switching, what would they do just send out new boxes etc to replace? How would it work in terms of the pricing and billing?

You would need to ask Sky but generally they do have different offers of the streaming platform as opposed to Sky Q as they are looking to transition customers over to Stream/Glass.
also you should note it may be several days before you get an engineers appointment to setup the satellite dish

Re: Switch from sky Stream to Sky Q
@Louisereader Sky Q is a satellite based system, if you don't have a dish they would need to intall one which would need an appointment for an engineer to install.

Re: Switch from sky Stream to Sky Q
@Louisereader Sky Q is always installed by an engineer unless you were a recent Sky Q customer still with the boxes they need to check the dish set up as well as setting up the boxes.
