Issues still there, I'm on latest UI version, just done it, scrolling down, hit the movie area and boom no pictures of what's on and ya go back to guide and no text on tiles. Phoned them today, got the usual restart etc, gone past that stage.

It's been going on since April for me I think I have been very patient but its really getting on my nerves now its obviously a server problem that we are connected to have to keep restating the puck from settings to get the icons back 2 to 3 times a day this is unacceptable and ruined my viewing experience because I am just waiting for it to go wrong again they have tried blaming it on my Internet but I have had 3 different routers and 2 different isps since the problem started and I have gigabit speeds so that is not the cause I had 7 months of it running fine until April so sky get it sorted or your not getting anymore money from me I have reached the end of my teather

Problems
Hi... I'm having an issue with sky stream.. When I go to browse the channels I cannot get back to what I was watching without going on to the guide and pressing the channel.. The part that normally shows the picture is blank? This has only recently happened.. It's frustrating because if im watching something from the start I cannot see it once I go off the screen and it's wasted my time pressing the watch from the start function. Please help..

It's one of the current 'things' with SkyOS at the moment. A known issue for a number of customers that's been under investigation for a few weeks now.
Sky should hopefully fix it at some point.

Hi @Billym60 This is a known problem which has been ongoing for a while now. I also see this issue from time to time and I find rebooting my puck usually sorts it out for a while. You can do this through Settings > System Management > Resets & updates > Restart device. It will take a couple of minutes to reboot and you will have a blank screen for a while until the Sky logo appears.

Today I'm getting nothing but wait for your programme to load... This is a joke.. Nothing but issue after issue.. It's not the Internet it's not the routers it's YOU. Please get it sorted or cancel my contract and I will revert to standard TV which works without issue.

Yep issues still there, I'm getting the wait for your programme to load as well now, seems to be at peak time. The issue is their end. Shouldn't have to keep restarting it at least once a day, ruins the viewing, also skips and out of sync issues. Abismal service.

Yeah service seems to be degrading more now, if that's possible.
I've tried messaging the sky employee directly who marked this thread as "answered" https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/3585154
I don't know if that even goes through.
It's unacceptable at this point that the customer service is so bad.

Agree, and just wait till Sky take over ITV next year .... a total disaster of a product and services about to take place.
What's betting Comcast the ultimate US owner will carry out a RIF across the board as well !!

To be fair, I haven't had many issues since the 11/06/2026. Prior to that I had loads!
I keep logs now:
LR - 11/6/26 3:07pm Blank tiles, restart TV via Settings.
LR - 18/6/26 7:02pm Blank tiles, restart TV via Settings.
BB - On 19 June 26 at 11:04 am, the TV wouldn’t turn on. I had to unplug it from the mains for 30 seconds. It had updated its software overnight to QS040.023.00P.
LR - On 27 June at 18:55 while watching darts on ITV3, the audio became out of sync. Pressing down on the remote to change the channel and then up to return fixed it.
LR is Living Room, BB is Back Bedroom. I have three glass TV's. I’m convinced these problems are server-side issues on Sky’s end. I think I’m fortunate and all three TVs have connected to decent servers.
Router? Two TP-Link Deco BE65’s (v2 / Firmware Version: 1.3.2)

I'm chatting to a Sky employee at the moment, am so sick of this.
This was at the end of an attempt to just cancel my contract, which also seem difficult.....
Exhausting....
