Stream puck not showing on LG TV

Hi all, bizarre one this!

If I plug my puck into my sky glass in my living room using hdmi it works. 

If I plug my puck into my LG TV using HDMI in my bedroom the TV displays "No Signal". 

I have tried 2 different HDMI leads in case it's that and the TV recognises it has a HDMI plugged in (by showing either HDMI 1 or HDMI 2). The puck is not in stand by mode. 

Any ideas what the issue could be or a fix for it please?

@Pathogen78 I had an issue similar to yours with a jvc tv,I resolved it by plugging the puck into an other tv and changing the puck picture resolution to 1080p and it has worked since,this might help

How old is the TV? Sky Stream uses HDMI 2.0 and above so if you're TV is old, it might not be backwards compatible... It should be but it might not.

Thank you for the replies. I bought a new HDMI cable and it works now! 

The other 2 are now in the bin!
