Stream playlist not retaining last episode watched

Hi. I posted the same query a while ago, asking if anybody else had the same issue and ideally a resolution, however the thread got sidetracked into puck ownership

I had a puck, pre 2023, so one ofthe first.

It used to work fine, but then when going into the playlist, it wouls lways want to start at series 1, episode 1,

no matter what series or episode I had watched up to.

Happens when puck is powered off. Puck has always been powere off at night, and used to keep track of the playlist fine.

It strarted happening around the time that multiple user playlists appeared on the puck.

Sky tech just read from their script, with multiple calls, always asking to repeat the same factory reset and never wanting to pick up wherethe previus tech had stopped.

Out of deperation, I paid sky £50 to purchase a new puck (my account says puck purchased 12 Jaanuary 2026 user owned)

Exactly the same isue with the playlist persists.

sky have blamed my bb (it is sky bb) as it is copper, not fibre,. However everything else works fine, streaming, prime, paramount etc.

Puck is plugged into the router with Ethernet.

Re: Stream playlist not retaining last episode watched

So, no replies?

Guess I am the only person to suffer this.

Update - new puck, charged £50 for it & on my accot still hows 'user owned'.

Still the same problem, my playlist is stuck at one point in time. So series that were part watched show as this and will never move forward.

New series adds, will always show S1E1 despite the number of episodes watched.

Spoke yet again to sky today. I had to send them a picture of my puck, so balanced this on the router, infront of the monitor.

They said I should not do this due to interferrence, despite me telling them it is Ethernet wired.

Now they tell me it is a known fault.

But as no toer user has ever posted here about the same thing (that I canfind), is it just more sky **bleep**?
