@Lin31 wrote:Hi Mark yeah the sound and picture freezes and re starts, but sometimes it goes off completely and says the programme needs restarting! It happens on most channels I watch. I've checked all the speeds etc; all says good.
@Lin31 How did you check the speed?
Also have you tried a reboot of the puck?
1. Go to Settings
2. Go to System Management
3. Press Select
4. Go to Resets and Updates
5. Press Select
6. Go to Restart Device
7. Press Select.
Note this will take a few minutes to reboot, so expect to see a blank screen for 2 minutes until the Sky logo appears as its starting up.

Re: Stops and starts
@Lin31 can you elaborate? Is this only on recordings? Or is it the same on live tv? Do you mean the picture freezes and the sound stops, then both restart?
You've posted in the Sky+ forum. Do you have a Sky+ set top box? Or is it a Sky Puck or Sky Q box?

Re: Stops and starts
@Lin31 This doesn't sound like a Sky+HD box which uses satellite to receive live channels, can you confirm if you have Sky+HD. Sky Q or Sky Stream as per @Mark39 post
