Re: Stop programme to go to another app
Applied to all apps *** I find it best when you finish on the app to exit the app totally and not just press the home button
on the majority of the apps if you press back then back again you will get then"exit" screen
exceptions are Netflix where you need to scroll across the bottom to press "exit" and itvx which doesn't seem to have an exit option
doing this will close the app and presumably free up some system ram keeping the device running fast

I agree with @Jporch316 .
Since I started doing this I've had fewer glitches/issues that have required me to do a reboot to resolve.

Re: Stop programme to go to another app
I find that using voice control to go wherever I want works perfectly.
Once you get to know the channel numbers just say "Channel XXX" and you get what you want.

Short press of standby will turn the puck off
long press of standby will turn the tv off

You can just say the channel name as well and it will work. That helps prevent having to remember the old school numbers 😀
