Sound cutting out

Puck is connected with Ethernet cable. Sky service checker says everything is good. Turned the puck off at the wall and left it. Basically followed all the guidance 

But, sound is constantly dropping out when watching all channels, Netflix etc

It's not the TV either as we just a got a new one and the fault didn't change.

@CeeW   Have you tried going to Settings, Picture and sound, and select Sound.  What does it say under Digital audio output HDMI?

Have you selected it and change to one of the other options?

It said 'auto' so we're now trying Dolby digital plus.. we can work through the other options if that doesn't  work
