Slow signal on Sky TV puck

For the past few weeks, we have been having difficulties watching programmes or shows on sky TV puck, as they keep freezing and saying "technical fault please try again later" or "waiting for your programme to load". It has now got to the point where we have only been able to watch 5-10 seconds of shows or films at a time. When testing the speed, it shows as 1.48mbps. I have reset the WiFi router, however this has not helped at all.

Hi @Katy27  If you are only getting  1.48 mbps then your problem is undoubtedly your wi-fi speed.  The absolute minimum speeds recommended by Sky are:

HD = 25mbps

UHD = 30mbps

HD + 1 puck = 30mbps

UHD + 1 puck = 35mbps

If you are using any other devices in wi-fi in your home this will also use up bandwidth.

If possible try an Ethernet connection rather than WiFi.   If you try an Ethernet don’t forget to turn off Wi-Fi in Settings / Network / Advance settings.

If this is not practical then you could consider Powerline Adapters which are about £35 on Amazon.  Don’t waste money on a Gb model as Glass and Stream Ethernet ports only support 100mbps.
