Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreHi @Katy27 If you are only getting 1.48 mbps then your problem is undoubtedly your wi-fi speed. The absolute minimum speeds recommended by Sky are:
HD = 25mbps
UHD = 30mbps
HD + 1 puck = 30mbps
UHD + 1 puck = 35mbps
If you are using any other devices in wi-fi in your home this will also use up bandwidth.
If possible try an Ethernet connection rather than WiFi. If you try an Ethernet don’t forget to turn off Wi-Fi in Settings / Network / Advance settings.
If this is not practical then you could consider Powerline Adapters which are about £35 on Amazon. Don’t waste money on a Gb model as Glass and Stream Ethernet ports only support 100mbps.
