Sky Stream un watchable

I have sky stream and it's virtually unwatchable. My cooling off period has ended but should I be able to cancel if it's not fit for purpose?

Re: Sky stream

@JutHornsby It's worth having a conversation with sky customer services. It may be that they can release you penalty free (no guarantee)

the question is though ? Why is it unwatchable ? I suspect that you either don't have a fast enough internet connection or the WiFi connection is poor between the puck and your router ?

1. What is your broadband speed ?

2. Have you tried a hard wired connection via Ethernet cable between the puck and router ?

3. Check the speed coming into the puck via the Netflix app (settings, speed check) post it back here.

hope this helps

Re: Sky stream

I've 500mb broadband plus it's hardwired to the sky puck. Have no issues with any of my other streaming devices

Re: Sky stream

interesting fact, if you are on the 24 month plan, you are not tied into it. according to several staff ive spoken too. so if you want to leave, ring them and give them 31 days notice.

Yes, there have been a few posts reporting the same.

Re: Sky stream

at this point sky do not appear to be holding people to contracts - but this could change at any point. If you sign a 24 month contract expect to be held to it
