Sky stream technical fault

The only app that I have that's working is YouTube, all the others will show the ads and then say technical fault please try again later. This includes all sky channels. 

 

I am able to get the home screen but not play anything from it. Can't get into Netflix at all. 

 

My 5g is working no problem. 

I have turned the puck on and off. Refreshed the apps. Restarted the puck all to no joy. Rebooted the Internet 

 There is no issue with sky stream in my area. 

 

Any advice?

Hi Rebecca,

 

Sounds like a dodgy WiFi signal to me.

 

I think the YouTube app is more forgiving, for example I can reboot my internet while it's streaming and it doesn't notice, where the other apps refuse to work without a reboot.

 

Have you changed anything recently (layout, positioning of router/TV etc)?

 

Maybe a forced software update would fix this, I'd recommend a call to sky to perform this

Hi Jon,

 

Thanks for your reply. It's showing that it has excellent connection. My Internet speed is 129.7 mbps. 

I only got this 3 months ago! 🙄

It looks like I have to ring them anyways so will ask about doing the software reset.
