Sky stream remote control issue
Having issues with stream remote. Upgraded to sky max and since installing the white router and booster. I have not been able to use remote. So three remotes needed TV SKY SOUNDBOX and stream remote which by the way is hit or miss to turn on the puck. Have to unplug puck and wait. Also getting osm programmed loading or unable to connect at this time . Could someone please help I have spent hours on chat and speaking with an advisor. Still couldn't fix. Replacement remote sent. It's just the same. Have an engineer coming out next week to check WiFi.

Re: Sky stream remote control issue
Hi @TonyB7
The broadband issues will be separate from your issue with your remote. You don't say what TV you have connected stream to. However pressing the home button on the puck remote should turn on both the puck and TV as long as CEC (HDMI) control is on on the puck and TV and a long press should turn them off.
See: https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-stream-faqs for information on how the stream puck works & see: https://www.sky.com/help/articles/your-sky-glass-remote for remote information.
Re the Sky soundbox. This is now unsupported kit due to its age. Sky provide guidance on setting it up with stream here: https://www.sky.com/help/articles/setting-up-sky-soundbox-sky-stream-puck
However there have been a number of reports of needing to turn on with the soundbox remote. In also suffer the issue and have it connected in a non Sky stream setup nowadays.
In terms of please wait, puck needs 25Mbps for HD and 30Mbps for UHD. What speed is your broadband and what speed is your puck getting? You can check this by opening netflix > left hand menu > get help > connection check.
