Sky stream puck
Today I had 2 pucks installed, as my faithful but old HD + boxes, one just stopped working & Sky advised they no longer fix them.
So my only option was these streaming pucks. As I cant have Sky Q.
Its like navigating a maze, no planner, no plus channels, no record. Instead I have a playlist, simple I though! So I clicked on Classic Corrie on ITV 3 & Classic Eastenders on U & Drama & when I went to watch later, neither series were what should have been in the playlist.
The Corrie ep was a more recent one & it took me to ITVX when I added it from ITV3 & Ckassic Eastenders was on the correct channel just not the episodes I clicked on today. I really miss my HD + boxes I knew where everything was & these pucks are just Apps with the shortest All Channels listing I've ever seen. So disappointed I had to pay a firn to install both pucks as I explained to Sky due to disabilities I was unable to get to wall mounted TVs to plug cable in, but was I didnt need to do that that I just had to plug into the mains. So far I've spent nearly £300 to Sky & installers for something I hate. And I dont have any other Sky options....

Re: Sky stream puck
@tillyboo the changecfrom Sky+HD to Sky Stream is pretty big as there are a number if major differences.
No + channels - these were only ever in SD and were required on systems that did not have access to on demand content or catch up apos or could only record one programme at a time. On Stream you can usually find the content by searching - using the voicexsearch is the easiest.
No planner - there us a full TV guide which you can access if you click on the left hand pain two rails down from the home tile. From here you can find titles you want tonwatch and add them to your playlist. In the olaylist you will find that oncecaddedd you can see both the next broadcast but the previous episodes and seasons. On the choice for Corrie you should see the last few dates as that is what most people want but you can go back by pressing down to see the history for as far as it is online.
Not every channelthat broadcasts over the satellite are on Stream as the broadcasters have to come to an agreement with Sky and have the necessary technology.
It is worth persevering and try watching a few of the help videos you can find by scrolling down to the line with the settings. Sky Q has a limited future even if you could getvit as it is likely satellite broadcasting will stop in a few years so if you want Sky's output Stream will be the only choice. However it will take a fair while tomget comfortable with it.
65inch Sky Glass, 3 Sky Streaming Pucks, Sky Ultrafast + and Sky SR213(white Wifi Max hub) main Wifi from 3 TP-Link Deco M4 units in access point mode

Re: Sky stream puck
Hi. Thanks for reply. I am adding them to my playlist.
I go onto playlist & shoes "Classic Corrie" is added, but when I play it, its showing the current up to date episode.
Totally confused 🙈

It's often more effective to actually open the ITVX app and search within it rather than using the Sky Stream search. The playlist relies on the original broadcaster (in this case ITV) supplying Sky with correct metadata (information about each programme) so that it can track programmes effectively. This isn't always supplied unfortunately.
