Sky stream - picture freezes on most channels

We've had stream for 3 weeks. I've restarted the "puck", followed trouble shooting tips, checked WiFi is up to speed. No matter what time of day, the picture freezes and soundtrack continues. This happens on BBC, Channel 4 and sky sports, as well as many others. Its pretty much unwatchable.

@HanMar your problem is almost certainly poor data delivery. When you say you have checked the wifi how did you do that? What matters is the speed and regularity of the signal at the puck. Easiest way to check that is to run the network test in the Netflix app in the Get Help menu. The pucks are small and there is a temptation to slip them behind a TV but TVs contain metal that block wifi signals.

I ran the signal test through the settings section of the Sky remote. I will run it through the Netflix app this evening and see what result we get. Thank you

Sky puck and stream

I have the same issue watching live TV and the picture freezes randomly and the sound continues. I have a wired connection to the hub and 600mb fibre which works perfectly with every other device around the house, so the issue is not internet speed.

Sky you need to sort this out!!

Same here. Amazon firestick has no issues on the same network. I have set up QoS to prioritise traffic to the puck but this has made no improvement. Tried running in on an ethernet cable driect to my router as still has problems. BBC1 is by far the worst.

As much as I like the sky channels I am thinking of dumping it and just using on demand services and freeview.

Sky stream is a great idea but poorly delivered and sky should refund its customers until it gets this to work properly.
