Sky stream last watched channel

Does anyone know how to bypass sky stresm home as each time lets say i watching bbc or another channel i put my tv in stsndby. Only to come back later to find i have to wait for home screen before i can watch chsnnel again. Fustrating as i rather put tv on and see my chsnnel not hsving to waste time by having to click it via the home screen. I read article you can change behaviour in settings but my settings bare basic. In skyw if you left channel on and left tv off it would load last channel you were watchinng. Honestly this sky stresm giving me headache

Unfortunately there is no way ..... the system is designed to load up to the Home Screen

you can go once left on the Home Screen top rail to load up the last accessed line tv channel.

Or just say into your Sky Stream remote 'ITV1', 'Sky News', '103', '501' or say one of your favourite set channels.

@Afif  This subject (amongst others) was raised in the link below just the other day.  Many, myself included, prefer it the way it is for all the reasons stated in the link.  Do you only ever watch just one channel?  If not it must give you the same headache  when you want to find another channel!
