Sky stream isses

Using Sky stream with new LG G4

Last week we had a total outage on our new build estate for 8 hours

Still we were re connects I ve been having issues with the stream

Keep losing picture and getting usual please wait etc

Reset and loaded password numerous times  it has become unwatchable

On settings shows poor connection and then drops out .

Alexa phones etc work fine

Has worked pretty much fine in the 3 months we have been in new house until after the outage

Puck located behind wall mounted Tv

Hub connections are located in a cupboard in hall. As said has worked fine up till outage.

Have opened cupboard and leave hub in hallway and seems a lot better but cannot keep it out in hall.

Would an wifi extender be useful

Tia

Hi @Bolty323

It's likely that your router is now using a different channel chanel than it did previously. The best option would be to use ethernet cable / homeplugs. It's not recommended putting a router in a cupboard as you mentioned the signal is better when not in said cupboard. They are designed to be out in the open.

In addition to the advice already provided, its also not advised keeping the puck behind a wall mounted TV, and that will also affect the Wifi connectivity and cause some connectivity instability.
