Sky stream as an extra
Hi i have a sky account. In hospital long term. Currently have a package and watch on sky go on my xbox, could i get sky stream to save me using my xbox ? Whilst using it for my current package without using it as a seperate account and bill.
Thanks.

Re: Sky stream as an extra
Not really because Sky's t&C's say that you can only use Stream at the registered address. Also, you'll need a stable internet connection of 20mbps-ish which you probably won't get on a hospital WiFi network.
Also, if you have Sky Q at home I don't think you can have Stream as it's one or the other.

Re: Sky stream as an extra
Ok, thats a shame. So its one or the other and theyre both contracted seperatly but can only have 1 at 1 address. Ill stick with sky go then. Just wanted my xbox to have a little more life as i just use it for sky.

Re: Sky stream as an extra
Yeah you can't have Sky Q and Stream registered to the same address, ordering Stream would automatically cancel Sky Stream.
Also Stream can only be used at the registered address. Sky monitor the IP that the service is originating from so if used outside the registered address you could be charged additional fees.
Also as mentioned it's unlikely the hospital WiFi would be good enough for the Sky streaming platform.

Re: Sky stream as an extra
Just an idea depends what you are looking for channels wise, but would a Now TV subscription to Sky TV be a better deal for you?

Re: Sky stream as an extra
Your Sky Go on an iPad/iPhone could be an option whilst in hospital?
