Sky stream Ultra HD

Looking for some advice, 

I've just purchased Sky Stream , and paid for the ultra HD pack. 
However, when I went to set up , did everything according to the set up video 

(except connecting Ethernet Cable ) 

and when I selected UHD 2160p and clicked save changes , my screen would then start to flicker on and off , as if it can't watch it.

but when I then switch it back to 1080p HD 
it seems to be fine. 
then I look in the MySky App , but it says that my connection status is poor.

my tv is a Samsung 55" UHD and used to work fine with skyq.

I had this issue with my Hisense TV's. The screen would flicker on and off when the puck was set to UHD. I had to adjust a setting on the TV to fix it. There is an option to change the HDMI cable speed, my TV was set to advanced but I had to select standard. The issue continued when selecting auto.

Yes, since selecting standard on my Hisense TV's all three work perfectly.

And did you / are you using the HDMi cable that sky supplied you with? 
as I've tried a high speed 4K one and the puck / picture said that their was no signal and went straight over to HDMI port 2

No, I'm not using the Sky supplied HDMI leads. I got mine from Amazon a few months back and I believe they were 8K certified.
