Evening all..
Watching Liverpool do City on Sky Sports Main Event UHD and every few minutes or so I get a stutter or judder or even a little speed up.
Virgin fibre broadband 250meg connection.
Currently connected via WiFi. Would Ethernet make much difference or is it a known issue?
Many thanks
Chris

Same problem here! Currently in queue trying to speak to someone at Sky.

Seems to be a fairly commonly reported issue with Sky Stream. I don't subscribe to Sports so can't try to replicate.
It would seem that not everyone is affected by it though as the regular responders on here don't seem to suffer from it. Perhaps it's one of those server-dependent issues where some customers are connected to a more congested server and therefore get occasional buffering issues, whereas others don't.
It's probably worthwhile trying ethernet and turning wifi off on your puck if you can. Ethernet will always be less likely to get interference than wifi. The ethernet port on a Stream puck is capped at 100Mbps but that's still more than enough for streaming live UHD sport.
Good luck.

I just did a speed test on the Netflix app and it came back with 186Meg. Question is would Ethernet be any better as it often maxes out at 100meg but isn't subject to the network traffic WiFi can have..
Or it's Sky's fault!

Let us know what Sky say please?
