Sky remote not changing volume

Our remote was working perfectly, operating the TV as well, until we had a software upgrade on the puck.  Now, although it will connect, it says our TV is not supported, although it clearly was before.  Sky have sent a new remote with no change - it still won't operate tv. Has anyone else had this issue?
