Re: Sky puck

@LH2511 WiFi issues are the most common complaint about the Stream (and Glass) platform.

It's really better to connect using an ethernet cable (and turning WiFi off in the Settings) as it provides a more stable connection.

If your router is too far away then using Powerline adapters would be a good investment.

And yet on Sky's own website they advetise as follows........

Enjoy your favourite content over WiFi with Sky StreamWhat they should add is "If you can get the Sky Pucks to stay connected", and before anyone says "ethernet is a more stable connection etc, etc, my LG TV is connected via WiFi and in 2 years has never lost connection, gone to a blue screen or Waiting for program to load or displayed any excuse messages that Sky Stream flashes up every 30 minutes, better still the stock answer from Sky Customer Service is " Factory reset the Puck" and go through the whole process again until the same thing happens 30 minutes later.

Back to Sky Q and 2 mini boxes after a failed attempt at Sky Stream (again) , VM 1 gb Broadband and Google Nest WiFi Pro.
