Assume you have tried a Puck settings restart.
Can you try as described in this Sky help article , namely as described in step 4, the recovery procedure;
Sky Stream with two pucks via wifi (former Sky Q and Sky+ customer).

HI TabletYD,
I have the same problem, I believe the internal power and it's very thin older power connectioncable is not suitable.
The puck packing packing a small circuit board and power module in a small puck and therefore overheating. Bad design.
Typical after I came off the phone to Sky the puck turned itself off and on again.
Sky said it was not an issue, I beg to differ but will wait I stil have a week of my 30 day cancellation period.
