Sky puck

Sky puck switches itself off and back on several minutes later at the same time every day. It is also very warm to the touch even although well ventilated. Also several times an hour the sound goes off but the picture still there

Assume you have tried a Puck settings restart.

 

Can you try as described in this Sky help article , namely as described in step 4, the recovery procedure;

HI TabletYD,

 

I have the same problem, I believe the internal power and it's very thin older power connectioncable is not suitable.

 

The puck packing packing a small circuit board and power module in a small puck and therefore overheating. Bad design.

 

Typical after I came off the phone to Sky the puck turned itself off and on again.

 

Sky said it was not an issue, I beg to differ but will wait I stil have a week of my 30 day cancellation period.
