Sky puck issues

My sky puck constantly cuts out, 

It cuts out and back in to the program, as if you've just selected it again. 

Or it'll cut out and I'll get a grey screen with just audio. 

I have 512 Mbps broadband, and there's nothing blocking the puck to the router. 

This happens on all apps too 

Software is up to date. 

I've contacted sky 'experts' where they just say, turn it off and on again. 

Any tips and tricks as to why this is happening?

Hi @CCJONABLE , How long have you had Sky Stream? Has this been happening since you first got the puck, or was it working perfectly, and is only now having these issues? Also how have you got it connected? Is sounds like your using WiFi?? Is it possible to try it with an Ethernet lead direct to the router, just to see if that stops the problem.

I've had the puck since August

It's happened since then but sporadically, now it's all the time, without fail within 2-3 mins of selecting channel 

Ethernet connection is not an option from where the router is to the puck 

I've just watched 12 mins of NFL, it cut out numerous times, I got the grey screen, and now it's saying technical difficulties.

  • So I resort to watching through sky go app on laptop with no issues
