My sky puck freezes several times per night. It is warm to the touch but it sits in the open and is well ventilated. Every 40-60 minutes I need to switch it off, wait five minutes and restart it.
Does it do this while just watching a channel & being left alone? If so, and if it doesn't recover, that might be worth speaking to Sky about - there might be a fault with the puck.
Mainly when I'm watching Netflix through the sky account. Picture freezes but sound and subtitles keep going. Only way to get it back is to reset the box.
